Textiles Division
One of the earliest products handled by the company, this business started almost 20 years back as a supplier of stock lot fabrics. The Division has since moved away to become a value added supplier of Yarns & fabrics to end user factories. A strong technical team with stress on quality has helped this Division in its quest to create a special role in the value chain.
YARN
Cotton Yarn
Cotton yarn is made from the world's finest cottons like Pima, Giza or finer Indian and Pakistani cottons as per customer preference. Fibre contamination removal is carried out at the blow room stage by 'Vision shield' from Rieter and 'Lobtex' from Crosrol. Yarns are then spun in combinations of spinning machinery like 'Reiter' 'Trutzschler' 'Toyota' and 'Crosrol' lines. High speed cards and combers ensure best quality yarns satisfying 'Uster 5%' level of quality. Finished yarns are electronically cleared by automatic winders like 'Schlaforst Autoconers' and 'Murata' Yarns are conditioned before packing by conditioning equipments like 'Xorella' of Switzerland. Yarns made of cotton are very comfortable, strong and sweat absorbent in nature. They find applications in
- Apparel - Blouses, shirts, dresses, children wear, active wear, separates, swimwear, suits, jackets, skirts, pants, sweaters, hosiery, neckwear
- Home Fashion - Curtains, draperies, bedspreads, comforters, throws, sheets, towels, table cloths, table mats, napkins
- Medical and cosmetic applications - Bandages, wound plasters
Polyester Yarn
Yarns made out of polyester fibres possess high resistance to chemicals and micro organisms. Fabrics made from these yarns exhibit good washing and light fastness but are poor sweat absorbents. Polyester yarns are available in count range from 10s till 60s in single yarns, from 10s till 80s in double and multiple ply yarns & are used in weaving, sewing threads and carpeting applications.
Polyester Blended Yarn
Polyester & Cotton: Widely used in many applications. Polyester helps the fabric to retain its shape and resist stains and wrinkles; it also adds strength and durability. Cotton makes the fabric more absorbent and comfortable and adds good feel or texture.
Polyester & Wool: To give wrinkle-resistance and shape retention in all kinds of weather. Since polyester is stronger than wool, it increases the durability and life of the fabric. The wool contributes good draping characteristics and elasticity.
Polyester & Rayon: Polyester makes the fabric more resilient and durable, and helps it keep its shape. Rayon adds a different texture and is good for draping.
Polyester & Nylon: Produces a strong fabric because of nylon's strength and abrasion resistance and polyester's wrinkle-free properties.
These blended yarns find application in every form of clothing, home furnishings like carpets, curtains, draperies, sheets, pillow cases, wall coverings and upholstery; automobile upholstery, fire hose, power belting etc.
Viscose (Rayon) Yarn
Viscose fibre is a modified cellulosic fibre made from wood pulp and has properties similar to those of natural cellulosic fibers like cotton or linen. These fibres are famous for excellent sweat absorbency, comfort and softness. Fabrics made of viscose drape well hence are used mainly for ladies dress materials. However viscose has poor strength, durability and wrinkle resistance.
Our range covers 100% viscose spun yarn ( Lenzing / Birla fibre) as well as viscose - polyester blend yarns for knitting and weaving. We also offer open end viscose yarn and mélange yarns from 2% to 20% black shades as per customer requirements. Main applications of these yarns include production of embroidery thread, chenille, cord, fancy yarns, Fabrics (Crepe, gabardine, suiting, lace, outerwear fabrics and linings for fur coats & outerwear) & Apparel (blouses, dresses, saris, jackets, lingerie, linings, millinery, slacks, sport shirts, sportswear, suits, ties, work clothes).
Acrylic Yarn
Acrylic yarns are available in both raw white and dyed varieties in hank and cone form as per customer choice. These yarns have outstanding wickability, quick drying tendency, good washing fastness, resistance to oils, chemicals and sunlight, and are dyeable in bright shades with excellent dye fastness. Main applications include Apparel (Sweaters, socks, fleece wear, circular knit apparel, sportswear and children wear) & Home Furnishings (Blankets, area rugs, upholstery, pile; luggage, awnings, outdoor furniture).
Filament
Polyester and Nylon Texturised yarn DTY - One of the most common filaments available, DTY is produced from polyester or Nylon yarn and texture is added by mechanical means at high temperature conditions.
DTY raw and DYED - DTY is available in raw white as well as dyed form. Dope dyed DTY is made by injecting dye in polymer dope which gives excellent depth and uniformity of shade, mostly black color. Solution dyed (package dyed) DTY is also possible using small dye vessels to give customized shades to customer with min qty as low as 300kgs per shade .
Spandex yarn - is made of poly urethane and widely known as Lycra or stretch yarn for their stretch regain and elastic properties. Used in ladies garments as well as active wear fabrics, spandex is available in various brands.
